A Day in Our Care

Life inside a Sevabharathi Elder Care centre

Beyond facilities, we create a home — filled with laughter, purpose, and the quiet joy of being truly cared for.

Morning Routine

Every morning begins with movement and mindfulness

At sunrise, our residents gather in the open courtyard for gentle yoga and pranayama, guided by our certified physiotherapist. Movement is medicine — and our daily routines are crafted to maintain flexibility, reduce fall risk, and elevate mood. After yoga, elders enjoy a warm, nutritious breakfast tailored to their dietary needs.

Afternoon Engagement

Purposeful afternoons that light up every face

Our afternoons are never idle. From craft sessions and music therapy to current affairs discussions and Bhajan circles, every resident is given space to contribute, create, and connect. Our intergenerational exchange program brings school children to visit — one of the most beloved moments in our weekly calendar.

Health & Medical

Proactive healthcare that treats the whole person

Our nurse navigators don't just dispense medicine — they build relationships with each resident, tracking subtle changes in health and escalating promptly. Monthly health camps bring specialist doctors on-site for ophthalmology, cardiology, orthopaedics, and dental check-ups. Emergency response protocols and dedicated hospital tie-ups ensure no resident ever waits in a crisis.

Their Words

Voices from inside our care centres

"After my children moved abroad, I feared loneliness more than illness. Here I found a family. Every morning I wake up excited — there is always something to do, someone to talk to."

👴
Rajan, 78 Resident since 2021 · Chennai

"My mother has diabetes and hypertension. The nurse here knows her case better than I do. I can work in Bengaluru knowing she is safe, monitored, and loved every day."

👩
Priya Suresh Family member · Bengaluru

"I have volunteered here every Sunday for two years. The elders are not residents — they are people with stories, wisdom, and incredible spirit. It changed how I see ageing entirely."
